Angel City Market

I design all social media graphics for Angel City Market, promoting events across Downey, Lakewood, and Long Beach. My work has contributed to increased online engagement and event attendance, with one of my designs featured on a large-scale billboard. Through clear, compelling visuals, I help strengthen brand presence and drive community participation. STARTING FROM MAY 2025 - PRESENT.

What Is It?

Angel City Market is an outdoor community-driven event that celebrates positivity and supports the growth of small businesses. Bringing together local vendors, food, art, music, and shopping, it creates a lively space where guests can connect and discover something new.

General Posts

For each Angel City Market location, I was responsible for developing distinct “general” branding that reflected the community’s character. For Downey, I incorporated key local landmarks and symbols, including Bob’s Big Boy, the astronaut and shuttle from the Columbia Memorial Space Center, a bear for Warren High School, and a Viking for Downey High School. For Lakewood, I highlighted the city’s fun, lively atmosphere by featuring a Lancer for Lakewood High School alongside playful elements such as a girl with face paint and a food truck, tying the branding closely to the community and its culture.

BILLBOARD

One of my Downey designs, featuring the astronaut and shuttle from the Columbia Memorial Space Center, was selected to be displayed on billboards across three locations in the city. This not only fulfilled a personal dream of mine to see my work displayed throughout my hometown, but it also created a significant impact for Angel City Market. The design sparked conversations within the community, generating excitement and visibility for the events, and ultimately driving more people to engage with the market. Having my work contribute both to my own creative goals and to the growth of Angel City Market made this project especially meaningful.

Anime Impulse

As an intern turned to LEAD Graphic Designer at ANIME Impulse, I was responsible for creating a wide range of design assets for their events starting from BAY AREA 2025. I developed social media posts, Instagram graphics, banners, signage, print materials, and merchandise. I worked with various gaming companies, VTubers, and Voice Actors ensuring cohesive graphics and merchandise.
